Everything was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly!
by OpenTable Diner on December 29, 2017
It’s all about the beef. This is a real “joint”. The bar scene is inyeresti g but go for the meat! One if the best filets in town. They know how to cook a steak! Great but simple sides. One of my favorite steakhouses anywhere

We’ve been to Regina’s about 6 times and it’s been very good with food and service every time. Little noisy, especially if the bar is crowded but the steaks are great and the service very friendly.
by OpenTable Diner on December 16, 2017
This is the second time we have been there in the past couple of months and have been so pleased both times. Friendly, attentive service that is never overbearing, steaks that were cooked perfectly and came with a generous and delicious salad, and just a generally lovely experience. We will surely go back!

Such a reliable place--always a warm welcome, excellent service and really good food. Tonight a lobster roll and mussels. The lobster roll was a mix of lobster and chopped veggies in a lightly fried wrapper (kind of like a Chinese egg roll). It was outstanding. The mussels were plentiful, tender in a flavorful broth. We will be back soon!

great happy hour drinks . then we had a great diner . place was hopping with holiday parties

While Regina's is never superb it is always very good. Warm bread is brought to the table after arrival. They are willing to make substitutions. My wife had salmon which was slightly overdone. I had a strip steak which I requested medium but was more medium rare. All steak orders come with a salad but not the salmon. Otherwise steak orders come with no vegetables so a side must be ordered for extra cost. Service is very professional and attentive. Portions are generous so we skipped dessert.

I love this restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is great!
by Goodcookie on November 30, 2017
The bar is full of jovial people eating and drinking, The dining room is lovely with candles burning on every table, white cloth and dark cloth napkins. Seats are comfortable. Service is immediate--water filled glasses and bread & butter at the table with menus. The server told us the specials and handed us menus. Their strip steak was flavorful but a bit tough and the roast 1/2 chicken was crispy, full of juice and the creamed spinach delicious. The jus served with the chicken was a welcome addition to the plate, not that it needed it but it was really tasty. All of the staff is pleasant and really seems to care if you are enjoying your meal. Will definitely return.

Regina's was simply amazing. Will be going back. The only thing we did not like was that we could not do 2 checks per table. We meet loved ones in the parking lot and would have enjoyed spending time with them. Can't wait to go back.

The food and service never disappoint. I had the special (surf and turf) it was great. The sides are big enough to share. Always try and get in for dinner when I'm in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Great! food good restaurant been there a long time. Familiar to locals.
by Dooey on November 03, 2017
Excellent food but loud beyond comfort. The bar scene smothered the dining room.
by RoeF on November 01, 2017
This was our second visit to Regina's! No matter what night of the week there was a large crowd in the bar, very friendly and welcoming. The music in the bar is quite loud, the dining room towards the street is further from the music and more conducive to having a conversation! On a Wednesday night at 7 p.m. a full six piece band was in the main dining room, phenomenal music a great vibe but definitely not perfect for a quiet dinner. The cowboy ribeye steak is unbelievable, Daily Soup specials both nights amazing... definitely worth a visit

We had an excellent meal with great service last weekend at Regina’s. We have never been disappointed going there.
by OpenTable Diner on October 27, 2017
The staff was friendly. The service was just okay. The food was good The restaurant However is way too noisy. You literally need to scream at the person sitting across from you.
by Karen on October 26, 2017
Food was good, service was fine. The problem was that it was loud. They had a DJ in the bar and it all spilled over into the restaurant. It was hard to have a conversation. I would recommend it but advise you to check first about the potential noise level.

Very good food, the service is paced a little to slow for my taste, but overall a very nice place to eat.

Great spot. Good steaks and service. Good wine list.

This was our third time here and it was superb. Very friendly management and servers--especially Benny. Nothing is overlooked and everything is delicious. NY Strip steak and lamb chops--perfectly prepared and seasoned; garlic mashed potatoes were good and in huge portion. Apple crumble pie was excellent as was the scoop of ice cream. Looking forward returning.

Many reviews mention the noise level. We arrived rather early and the music had just started before we left, but seated in the far room, it was quite manageable. I've been here a few times, admittedly with a Groupon, but I wouldn't return if the quality wasn't good. I come back for the Cowboy Ribeye, which has been tender, flavorful and well cooked each time. It's enough for 2 (with a lunch left over) once you've shared some soup and salad. I particularity like their version of onion soup, with a cheese covered slice of bread, which someone found unwieldy, but is actually a nice touch. Not too salty either as is often the case. Neither was the tasty creamed spinach. A baked potato was enormous and could have benefited from a few more moments in the oven. The apple crumble dessert was very good. The service was attentive and the wait to order or get the check not unreasonable. If anything my only complaint was that the dinner followed on the heals of our appetizers so quickly that we hadn't yet finished our salads. While I knew what I was planing on ordering I overheard offering suggestions and accepting substitutions at neighboring tables. While overall perhaps not on a par with some of the well known steakhouses and chains, neither are the prices of the steaks (sides, salads, and desserts are similar.) The ribeye is almost a third less than Morton's or Capital Grill but it was certainly enjoyable. And while it isn't a Peter Lugar either, at least I didn't have to drive to Brooklyn! I would classify this as a neighborhood gem.

Friday night the bar was hopping, place was full and the food coming out of the kitchen was a constant stream of very interesting food that everyone seemed to be enjoying. We had the NY Strip steak and it was delicious. As a side we had the garlic mashed potatoes--big enough to share with 3. The sorbet was tasty as was the ice cream. A very lively vibe all night. Great place.
by OpenTable Diner on August 19, 2017
Reginas never disappoints you!! Filet mignon is out of this world. Definitely the best steak we've had.
by OpenTable Diner on August 12, 2017
The staff was nice. I had the salmon and it was delicious but didn't care for the spinach. My husband had the steak and salad and he enjoyed both .
by timeflies1 on August 04, 2017
Food was prepared as requested and came to the table hot. Had hot mozzarella and tomato appetizer to start. My wife had salmon and they willingly substituted mushrooms for mashed potatoes. Any steak comes with a salad which was easily shared. I had strip steak medium as ordered. Good but not great as sections were a little tough. They have a very busy bar scene whose noise is pretty loud so don't expect a quiet dinner.

Four of us went for dinner to celebrate my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. It was the first time any of us had been to Regina's, so we ordered 3 different appetizers and a pasta dish to split to start our meal. Everything was very good, but the onion soup was unusual in presentation: the cheese covered crouton was perched on the rim of half of the bowl. This made it difficult to eat, and my husband wasn't thrilled with it. Two of us had the petite filets, two split the porterhouse for two (which is big enough for three or four). All perfect. The 3 sides we ordered were fine, not great, with the mac & cheese being our least favorite. The drinks were well made, the service was very good, and the room was nice. Overall, expensive, as a really good steakhouse usually is, but a good place to go for a special occasion or just a great piece of meat.

Always enjoy dinner at Regina's The swordfish served over a combo of sweet potatoes and spinach is my favorite.
by OpenTable Diner on July 27, 2017
The food was great and our waitor was outstanding. It was very loud, sometimes so much so that we could hardly hear each other talk. But a great place to eat.

This was ours first time there, the food was great, we will be back!
by Foodie on July 15, 2017
We went here because I had a Groupon and was excited to try what I thought was an upscale steak house. Firstly we ordered a glass of white wine which was lukewarm at best. We asked for a cold glass instead of this or any comparable white and they had to have us wait while they chilled one I guess? Even then it wasn't as cold as you'd want. After we reviewed the menu and decided among the 5 steak options, we were told that 2 were not available so we had to re-decide what to order. The steaks were mediocre at best and the sides were ok. Overall we were not impressed at all and wouldn't go back.
by Goodcookie on July 15, 2017
This was our first time here and we had no idea what to expect. The menu was interesting with many choices--meat, fish and seafood--all served with a well dressed salad. We chose the NY Strip and it was perfectly cooked an nicely plated. It was truly delicious--tender and very well seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes were truly garlicky smooth and enough for 2 or 3. Dessert was sorbet and a perfect way to end a delicious dinner. Service was attentive throughout dinner, glasses constantly refilled, dishes removed and our server was terrific as were all the others. We will definitely return.
by MimiD on July 14, 2017
The food was good but too salty. Especially the green sautéed vegetable was so salty I couldn't finish it.
by Foodie on July 08, 2017
We have gone to Reginas Happy Hour many times, but this was our first dinner. I purchased a Groupon, and didn't realize it had expired four days before we went. They would not honor it, and I think that's bad business especially when other people told me they would honor it since theirs was honored. The food is wonderful, but I now have a bad taste in my mouth since they could have honored it. They gave me the amount I paid for the Groupon but not the Groupon value. Since the food is so good, we would go back often, but now I'm not sure. Service is equally as important as the food.

great meal, great service

I'll admit that Regina's has been a little hit-or-miss for me in the past. But through the last few visits, it's clear that they've really straightened out their challenges. It didn't hurt that we went straight for a clear area of expertise for them - the steak menu. We shared the 40 ounce cut, and that's not always an easy cut to prepare. We were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was; likewise, the service was enthusiastic, and if it wasn't absolutely as attentive as we might have liked, it was quite strong. There was a large party in house, and those parties can often take over a restaurant; we were pleasantly and happily surprised to feel like there were equal resources devoted to the party and the regular guests. It was a restaurant full of smiling people. I'm impressed, and happy.

Unbelievably noisy. They said only on Friday nite.
by Barb on June 23, 2017
Some of the dining experience was spoiled by the noise level. The dining room is adjacent to the bar--and the bar was super busy. I had the special rack of lamb (48$) and it was quite good and more than sufficient for dinner. I did take a few chops home. My companion had rare tuna, but beware, the wasabi is HOT The service lost a few points--it took about 13 minutes to get our drinks. The runners in the dining room do not know which person gets what dish, so they offer it to person, then another table until someone claims the dish from the bewildered server. Make that several points off for the service

Food was exceptional and the service was very attentive. Great experience! Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I chose Regina's Steakhouse as an upscale option to celebrate our anniversary. It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was fairly empty and comfortably quiet. The food was outstanding. I started with the soup of the day, mushroom bisque. It was absolutely delicious. We don't eat much meat, so neither of us ordered steak. My husband had the duck and I had the pork chops. Both dishes were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The portions were large and after having the bowl of soup, I was not able to finish my entree, so I took home a doggie bag. I enjoyed it just as much the next day. I noticed a few men at the next table eating steak, large portions, which looked delicious. Surprisingly the prices were very reasonable. Including a glass of wine for each us, the bill came to just over $80 (before tax and tip).

When asked price of special skirt steak was told 55 doll so hubby wouldn't order Asked different waiter price clarification and told 34 doll but was too late to chg order Wait or not apologetic and was not a good waiter Food was good

Food mediore and over priced per quality. Staff was friendly. I will not return.
by OpenTable Diner on May 09, 2017
Food was decent. If we didn't have the Groupon, we probably wouldn't have chosen to eat here. Service was pretty good, but the place is very loud. It was just the two of us trying to have a nice dinner and we could barely hear one another.

Always great food & service at Regina's!
by OpenTable Diner on May 06, 2017
As always, everything was great! Always perfection.
by OpenTable Diner on April 29, 2017
Extremely slow service. Waited 35 minutes for a bill. Food was very disappointing and the price was high. All 4 of us had fish which was very devoid of flavor. The bronzini was full of bones, no seasoning, tasteless and $38. I found it pricy for fish with no taste and the ahi tuna was tough. We all had asparagus with no ssasoning. It was such a disappointment, I called each friend to apologize for a very disappointing experience. It cost us $62. a piece for a non memorable meal.
by OpenTable Diner on April 25, 2017
Regina's steak are what enjoy. Cooked to perfection. Great house dressing in their salad. We went on a Tuesday night and it was very pleasant. Weekend evenings the music at the bar is too loud.
